"Poser" is a very old trade, it seems

Turning back to some fine old words...

...and quoting “Proverbs 26:12” (from a New American Standard Bible)...

“Do you see a man wise in his own eyes?
There is more hope for a fool than for him.”

Some truths evidently do stand good for a long time (-: well, so I claim :-)

This saying explains a lot of politics, marketing — oh, & some science, too :-)

... but nowhere is it more true than in theology.

Dunno, I think at least sales & management'd give random theologists a fair run.

Not to mention those you'd call "untitled theologists", who have definite opinions but no firm base for them. 'T'would be much funnier if it wasn't so sad.
