PostgreSQL without DELETE keywords

Elein Mustain shows us how to use PostgrSQL in “time-travel” mode, deferring or avoiding some CPU-expensive parts of SQL database management and exposing some new & useful techniques in the process.

Amongst other things, you can have an audit-trail-like experience instead of deleting old records, allowing your database to figuratively time-travel to show a set of records as they would have looked (do look) at a given time.
