The University of Arizona is announcing that Titan’s, um, titanic oceans are very much like their Tanami, Great (400,000 km2), Little (110,000 km2), Gibson, Negev or Kalansho equivalents here on Earth (the first four of these are all Western Australian (as is — oddly enough — the Great Victoria)).
the European Space Agency also has much interesting pre-Cassini speculation on the Titanic puzzles at the scene.
Titan looks just like big parts of this home state... only not quite as generally warm or damp. WA doesn’t merely equal Victoria, it includes the Great Victoria.
