Rosetta is on course for its swing-by Mars mission, hooning past Mars in just under a week.
It must be interesting driving with a 17½-minute steering lag, which is the current distance to Rosetta.
Rosetta will fly-by at least two asteroids on its way to rendezvous with Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, where it will drop a lander named Philae. The Mars swing-by is a kind of bonus for a very busy 10-year mission.
