The Dot reveals that KOffice 2’s inter-component integration will work bidirectionally, which means that a sub-document is not a mere special-case reimplementation of the component’s original creator application, but a genuine sub-component — and this works both ways (e.g. a Karbon component in a KWord document is treated in much the same way as a KWord component “living” in a Karbon document).
This means that the K Office Suite 2 will indeed be a suite, not a mere collection of shotgun-married loners.
