Adding injury to injury

You may remember a customer being automatically cut off by Telstra’s bungling accounting software... well, they did it again. Their system as at Wednesday morning was, according to Telstra, not even line-provisioned for ADSL. Much screaming and nagging from an erstwhile peer resulted in everything coming back to life by nightfall. Said peer has so far logged over 20 telephone hours with Telstra, all in the name of getting a simple ADSL connection with a fixed IP address.
